I recently won a competition that Miners were holding over on twitter, and one of my amazing prizes was the Matte Factor in Peach.
I have been wanting to try this out for the longest time after watching MsBudgetbeauty rave about it. This was the first thing I tried from my goodies and I absolutely love it. Let's talk shade first. I'd say that yes this is peach, however although it is on the brighter side, it's a very wearable, neutral (not too warm or cool toned) every day shade which I love. Usually I stay well clear of corals and peaches as I'm cool toned and they don't suit me at all, but this looks fab.
Next up, application. This has a creamy texture (similar to collection cream puff) and applies smoothly, evenly and is extremely pigmented. It's definitely opaque when applied, one coat and your good to go for the day.
Lastly, finish and staying power. With this being a matte lip product, I thought it would be quite drying. However I hold my hands up, I was wrong. Although the product itself dried, my lips didn't dry out in the slightest bit. Bonus points for that Miners! I applied a thin layer of this at 7 am and checked my pout at work at 8 am. My lips were still as pigmented as they were when I first applied. I checked again 2 hours later, 10 am, and although the colour had faded slightly my lips still had a great amount of pigmentation. Lastly I checked at 12 pm and almost all of the the colour had faded. I have to say, getting 4-5 hours of high pigmentation is amazing in my opinion. I'm very impressed with the Matte Factors and shall definitely be adding a few shades to my 'must have' list. Thanks again Miners!
These retail at £3.99 for 5 ml and come in 6 shades.
