Products I've been loving

Hi Beauts.

As I haven't posted a favourites in a while, I thought I'd share some products that I've been loving these past few months. Some are new things I've recently been trying out and loving and some are rediscoveries.

* FashionistA bronzer in 'LA' - I've never really been one for bronzer, if I'm honest because I could never find one that suited my skin tone. However I dug deep into my make up collection and pulled out this little bronzer. Bronzing and contouring has now become and every day essential for me

* NYX blush in 'Taupe' - Because I'm so pale, I find it hard to get a decent contour powder that doesn't look muddy on my skin. This blush is perfect for all of us pale skin ladies. It's a cool toned, light taupe shade that blends easily, and lasts on my skin all day

* Make Up Revolution blush palette 'Sugar and Spice'- This is a new palette to my collection, and one that will be a favourite for a very long time. It comes with 8 different pink toned blushes, that will suit everyone. The pigmentation I'd intense, the shades are gorgeous and the staying powder is amazing

* Make Up Revolution eyeshadow palettes - I couldn't pick one palette from the three that I have. Each one has outstanding pigmention, a beautiful shade range, they all blend like a dream and each contain mattes and shimmers

* Eyeko Skinny liquid eyeliner 'Black' - I'm a huge fan of eyeliner pens, and this one impressed me big time. It's so easy to control, it glides on effortlessly, it's super black and it stays put literally all day long

* The Bodyshop Amazonian wild lily fragrance mist - This smells AMAZING!! I kid you not, this could possibly be the nicest smelling thing I've ever sprayed on me. I won't even begin to try and describe it, but I will say that it smells so fresh and clean and I adore it!

What products have you been enjoying lately?

The Body Shop hemp hand cream

Hi Beauts.

If you've read my blog for a wee while you may know that I always have really dry hands. I've tried numerous hand creams, some good and some not, but one is amazing. The cream in question? The Body Shop hemp hand protector.

This is actually my third tube of this and it's one that I'll always come back to. There are two reasons why I've strayed in the past: the smell and how greasy it leaves my hands. However I can totally overlook those teeny little issues because its such a great product. The smell is definitely herb like (if that makes any sense), and I've learnt not to use too much so the greasy feeling isn't too bad.

For the past two or three months I've used various other lotions and potions and although they helped my skin feel smoother, they were all a 'quick fix' and the dryness came back pretty much straight away. I repurchased this tube of goodness on Monday and literally straight after applying, my hands were super smooth and soft. I could apply this once a day and still see and feel a major difference, but I apply it almost every time I wash my hands and I can't get over the difference.

This tube is £10.00 for 100ml and you literally need a tiny pea sized amount, so it's going to last you ages. They also do a smaller tube of 50ml for £5.00 which again, is a right old bargain.

If you suffer from dry hands or just want something to keep your digits smooth over the winter, I can't recommend this enough!

I refuse to be without this now!

Quick run down:

The best hand cream for extremely dry hands, it smooths the skin within minutes. Does have a slight off putting scent and can feel slightly greasy, but it's an amazing product.

Have you tried this yet?

All used up in September

Hi Beauts.

Time again for my monthly empties post :)

Hair, Skin and Body:

* Herbel essence hair mask £3.99. This is probably my third tub of this and I still love using it. Other than the fact it smells amazing, it leaves my hair soft and a lot more manageable. REPURCHASE? Yes RECOMMEND? Yes

* Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy £17.00. This is one of my favourite perfumes.  Not only is it always on offer, it smells good enough to eat. It's a very sweet scent and reminds me of candy. REPURCHASE? Yes RECOMMEND? Yes

* No7 eye make up remover £8.50. Again another product I've repurchased and another that I love. This is an oil based remover so won't be loved by all, it removes every inch of make up even waterproof mascara and liner. REPURCHASE? Yes RECOMMEND? Yes

* Palmolive rose shower gel £1.99. This is probably my all time favourite shower gel. I used to hate anything rose scented but now I can't get enough.  It's very strongly scented and leaves the skin feeling super soft afterwards. REPURCHASE? Yes RECOMMEND? Yes

The Body shop seaweed clarifying toner £3.00. I bought this as I have oily/combo skin and basically it drives me insane, especially on my chin. This was great at keeping the oil at bay. It did make my skin feel a little tight but that soon disappeared as soon as I applied moisturiser. REPURCHASE? Yes RECOMMEND? Yes

The Body shop seaweed mattifying day cream £4.00. Again this really helped to control the oiliness of my skin. It was moisturising as well as oil controlling and left my skin matte looking. REPURCHASE? Yes RECOMMEND? Yes

No7 hot cloth cleanser £9.95. I bought this as I didn't really get along with the Liz Earle cleanse and polish. This however, I really enjoyed using. It can be used on the eyes so doesn't sting at all and it left my skin feeling super soft and looking pretty even REPURCHASE? Yes RECOMMEND? Yes

Make up:

* Rimmel scandal eyes flex mascara £6.99.  This has become one of my favourite high-street mascaras of all time and I'm gutted I used it all up. I bought the regular scadal eyes when it first got released and wasn't too keen. However this bad boy is amazing. It lengthens, gives volume and separates each lash. I LOVE this stuff. REPURCHASE? Yes RECOMMEND? Yes

* Collection lasting perfection concealer £4.19 This is my Holy grail concealer, there ain't no way I'm straying from it! I'm pretty sure every single beauty blogger has tried this bad boy. REPURCHASE? Yes RECOMMEND? Yes

* Rimmel stay matte foundation sample £5.99. After using up this sample, I had to go straight out and buy the full size. This was full coverage (I needed no concealer at all) was definitely matte and didn't stray or get shiny all day. REPURCHASE? Yes RECOMMEND? Yes
