MUA Intense kisses in 'sealed with a kiss'

If I could only have three make up products in my collection, they'd have to be concealer, mascara and lipgloss.

I have an overflowing drawer as it is, but I just couldn't resist adding one more gloss to my collection. A while back Ms Budget Beauty did a make up look using MUA products, and one of said products was their intense kisses in 'sealed with a kiss'

As soon as she applied it I knew I had to have it because it looked to me, like the perfect nude shade. However whenever I looked in store it was always sold out, so this just made me lust after it even more. After FINALLY getting my mitts on it, I've literally worn it every day and it has fast become my favourite go to lip product.

Unlike other lip glosses I own, this one is super pigmented, very opaque and really glossy without being sticky.

I thing the shade is a teeny bit pink toned which I never usually go for, but it's a nude that I can definitely get away with.

As I mentioned, it's very pigmented so the colour payoff is incredible. In fact, I'd put this somewhere in between a lipstick and a lipgloss - the intensity of a lipstick and the formular and finish of a gloss. Application is so smooth, it applies just like butter, and the high opaqueness means that you only need to alley one coat and you're rocking the perfect nude lip.

I'd say I got around 3 to 4 hours wear out of this which I think is incredible for a gloss, usually I get around half an hour and I find myself needing to reapply.

I'm so impressed with this, I think more shades may need to be added to my collection.....well, a girl can never have too many lip products, right?!

MUA Lash Boom

When it comes to mascara, I'm so picky. I like it all: length, volume and separation, and I think it's very rare to find a mascara that lives up to all three. MUA are one of my favourite brands for many reasons; they're inexpensive, great quality and they're cruelty free.
 Quite a while back now, they released a mascara called 'Lash boom' and for some reason I didn't buy it (I usually grab their new releases as soon as they hit the shelves) However, the time came to chuck my old mascara out and buy a new one, so I figured why not give this one a go? 

If I'm honest, the first thing that attracted me to this was the wand. There's a sticker on the on the lid with a small picture of what the wand looks like. Now I'm not usually one for plastic or spiky looking bristles because I'm very likely to poke my eyeballs out with it, but this one intrigued me. 
The Lash Boom wand is kind of like two wands in one. It has a ball like half and a slimmer half, which I found so much better than the usual mascara wands. 

The slimmer end allowed me to apply an even amount of mascara to each lash and was easier to use along my bottom lashes. The rounder end allowed me to apply more product to the outer corners and added a little extra volume. I think I've mentioned in a mascara review before that I usually find mascaras too wet when I first open them, so I like to leave them for a week or so. On first application I found the consistency of this to be perfect, not too watery and not at all dry. 
Now, does this live up to my high hopes and give me length, separation and volume? It sure does! Even after only one coat I can see a big difference, after two I'm ready to take off. 

There is only one very small issue I have with this, and that is removing it. It isn't as tough to take off as some mascaras I've used in the past, but it's a bit of a pain. I have to use soap to get the majority off and then use a make up remover to remove the last little bit. However, because it's such a great mascara I'll let it slide.

MUA fixing mist

I'm pretty sure that I mention in almost every post that I have oily skin....and what a pain in the ass it is.  On of my a favourite foundations is Revlon colorstay, it's one the only ones I've found that lasts on my skin all day. I still notice it stray from my chin and turn a little cakey, mainly when it's hot outside.

About 6 months ago I bought the Urban Decay De Slick make up setting spray and absolutely loved it. However it ran out and rather than repurchasing (I would in a heartbeat FYI) I wanted to find a cheaper alternative from the highstreet. Welcome to the table MUA fixing mist. This has been my go to product this past three weeks, I LOVE it. 

Basically a make up setting spray is a fine spray that you apply before and after your make up to help you look fresh as a daisy, and help your make up stay put all day.
This one does just that. I spray my face before my primer, after foundation and concealer, and lastly when my make up is all on.

I will say, apply your mascara last as I always end up with mascara lines under my eyes and down my cheeks if I don't. My make up definitely lasted a few hours longer than it did without using this, and I didn't need to re-powder at all. All in all, I find this works just as well as Urban Decay De Slick, the only difference i find is the UD is a little more of a finer mist and this one from MUA is a slightly thicker spritz. It doesn't really bother me, I just have to wait a little longer for it to sink into my skin.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely! As soon as I'm through with this bottle, I shall be buying a second :)

MUA blushes

Hi Beauts. 

As you can probably tell from many of my posts, I'm a big fan of the brand MUA. They're inexpensive and are great quality.

One of my favourite products in particular is the blush, I already have a review of their lipsticks.

All of the MUA blushes, whether you choose the powder or cream, are extremely pigmented, easy to blend and last on the skin all day long. I was unsure about the cream blush at first as I have oily skin so I've always stayed well away from cream blush. However, I love these ones. Again they're super pigmented and best of all they don't look overly dewy, they give a nice glow to the skin.
